Classic Coleslaw

Serves 6

4 cups shredded green cabbage

½ medium white onion (chopped)

¾ cup mayonnaise

½ cup sour cream

Juice of ½ lemon

1 teaspoon white wine vinegar

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Salt and pepper (to taste)

 

1. In a large bowl, combine green cabbage and onion.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, and sugar. Salt and pepper to taste. 
3. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture. Toss well. Cover and refrigerate until chilled and ready to serve.
