Spicy Honey-Glazed Chicken Wings

Serves 4

24 chicken wings

Olive oil (to coat)

5 cloves garlic (minced)

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 cup honey

 

  1. Place wings in a large bowl. Drizzle with oil. Add garlic, and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and cayenne. Toss well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  2. Remove wings from refrigerator and allow to sit at room temperature for approximately 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill.
  4. Arrange wings on hot, oiled grill grate. Grill until cooked through, approximately 8 minutes per side.
  5. Heat honey in a small saucepan until just warm. Brush wings with honey during the last few minutes of grilling.
