Grilled T-bone Steaks

Serves 4

4 T-bone steaks (1½-inch thick)

Favorite dry rub (or see recipes under Dry Rubs, Bastes, Sauces & Marinades)

Favorite BBQ sauce (or see recipes under Dry Rubs, bastes, Sauces & Marinades)

  1. Apply a generous amount of dry rub evenly over steaks, massaging well to coat. Place steaks in a plastic bag and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Remove from refrigerator and allow steaks to sit at room temperature for approximately 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill.
  4. Place steaks on hot, oiled grill grate. Cook to desired doneness, approximately 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare. If preferred, brush steaks with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of cooking, or serve sauce on the side.
