Memphis-style Rub

Yields approximately 1 cup

¼ cup paprika

3 tablespoons coarse salt

2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper

2 tablespoons garlic powder

2 tablespoons onion powder

1 tablespoon dry mustard

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a jar. Seal tightly. Shake well.
  2. Store in a dry, cool place for several months.
