Wholesome Goodness Parfaits

Yields 4 (12-ounce) parfaits  

2 cups low-fat (or fat-free), all-natural vanilla yogurt

1 cup blueberries

1 cup sliced bananas

1 cup sliced strawberries

1 cup favorite granola (or see recipe: Homemade Granola)  

Ground flaxseeds (for garnish)

Almond slices (for garnish)

4 whole strawberries (for garnish)

 

  1. Fill bottom of each parfait glass with ¼ cup yogurt. Add ¼ cup granola, ¼ cup blueberries, ¼ cup bananas, and ¼ cup strawberries. Top with ¼ cup yogurt. (Note: Repeat layers, depending on height of parfait glasses, ending with yogurt on top).  
  2. If desired, sprinkle ground flaxseeds over top of each parfait, and garnish with sliced almonds and a strawberry. Serve immediately with long-handled spoons.
