Strawberry Italian Ice

Serves 12

12 cups crushed ice

Zest of 1 lemon

3 cups strawberry syrup (recommended: Torani)

 

  1. Combine strawberry syrup and lemon zest in a small container. Stir well.
  2. Place crushed ice, in batches, into a food processor, and pulverize ice until finely shaved.
  3. Scoop shaved ice into snow cone cups or serve in small bowls with spoons. Pour approximately 4 tablespoons of syrup mixture over shaved ice. Serve immediately.
