Ruby Red Iced Tea

Serves 8-10

2 quarts (8 cups) cold water

10 Rooibos (red) tea bags

2 heaped teaspoons hibiscus tea

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup pomegranate juice

1 cup ruby red grapefruit juice

Ruby red grapefruit slices (for garnish)

Ice cubes

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Remove from heat, add tea bags and loose tea, cover the pot with a lid, and allow to steep for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Strain brewed tea into a pitcher. Add sugar and stir until it completely dissolves.
  3. To the pitcher, add pomegranate juice and grapefruit juice. Stir well.
  4. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice. If desired, garnish with grapefruit slices.
